Privacy Policy
This policy describes what information the Roll Blox mobile app ("the app", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, the legal basis on which it is processed, and the rights you have over your data. Roll Blox is developed and operated by Reinelt Games. If you have questions, contact reineltgamesdeveloper@gmail.com.
1. Information we collect
- Device identifier. Roll Blox uses a device-specific identifier as the primary key for your in-game account. It is not your IMEI, advertising ID, or any other personally identifying ID on its own.
- Player name. The display name you choose when you first play a multiplayer match. This is shown to other players and on leaderboards.
- Game progress. Levels completed, trophy points, time-trial scores, multiplayer match results, and unlocks.
- Optional Google Play Games ID. If you choose to link your account in Settings, we store your Google Play Games user ID so your progress can be recovered on a new device.
- In-app purchase records. If you make a purchase, the receipt is verified with Google Play and a record is stored to prevent abuse. We do not see or store your card or billing details — those are handled entirely by Google Play.
- Crash and diagnostic logs. When the app crashes, the device model, OS version, app version, and stack trace may be recorded to help us fix bugs. These do not contain account data.
- Network metadata. Standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps, user-agent) are kept for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
2. How we use it
- To save and restore your progress across devices.
- To match you against other players in multiplayer.
- To run leaderboards and trophy ranking.
- To enforce fair play (anti-cheat checks on submitted scores).
- To verify in-app purchases and grant entitlements.
- To diagnose, fix, and improve the app.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share game-progress data with third parties for advertising. We do not use your data to train AI models.
3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal basis for processing your data is:
- Contract. Processing necessary to provide the game itself — saving progress, multiplayer matchmaking, in-app purchases.
- Legitimate interest. Crash reporting, anti-cheat enforcement, network logs for security, and improving the app.
- Consent. Personalized advertising via Google AdMob (you can withdraw at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, or by purchasing Remove Ads).
- Legal obligation. Tax records related to in-app purchases, where required by law.
4. Third-party services
Roll Blox uses the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Data shared |
|---|---|---|
| Google Play Billing | In-app purchases | Order ID, purchase token |
| Google Play Games Services | Optional cloud save, achievements, leaderboards | Player ID, achievement IDs, scores |
| Google AdMob | Advertising | Advertising ID, limited device data |
| Supabase | Backend hosting (matchmaking, account data) | Device-specific identifier, player name, progress data |
We choose vendors that publish their own GDPR-compliant data processing terms.
5. Advertising
Roll Blox shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID and limited device data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, or by resetting or deleting your advertising ID. Purchasing the "Remove Ads" item permanently removes all ads from the app.
6. International data transfers
Our backend is hosted in the United States. If you are accessing the app from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed there. Where required, international transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including (where applicable) Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data retention
- Game progress and account data. Kept while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time — your data will be removed within 30 days of a verified request.
- In-app purchase records. Kept for as long as required for tax and accounting compliance (typically up to 7 years).
- Crash and diagnostic logs. Kept only as long as needed to investigate and fix the issue, typically up to 90 days.
- Network logs. Kept only as long as needed for security and debugging, typically up to 30 days.
- Multiplayer match history. Recent match data is kept for matchmaking, ranking, and anti-cheat enforcement, then aggregated.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including:
- HTTPS / TLS for all network traffic between the app and our backend.
- Encryption at rest for our backend database.
- Strict access controls so each player can only read and write their own data.
- Server-side verification of in-app purchases and submitted scores.
- No storage of payment card details — payments are handled entirely by Google Play.
No system is 100% secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
9. Children's privacy
Roll Blox is rated for ages 7+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where required by local law) beyond what is strictly necessary to run the game. We do not show personalized ads to users we believe to be under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, contact us at reineltgamesdeveloper@gmail.com and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and personal data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email reineltgamesdeveloper@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by your local law (typically up to 30 days, extendable where the request is complex). There is no fee for exercising your rights.
11. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA / CPRA. To exercise your California rights, email us at the address above.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date at the top, post a notice in the app for at least 30 days, and (where required) prompt you to re-confirm consent before continuing.
